 International bus lines
We are operating on three international lines: nr 971 Tallinn - St Petersburg; nr 987 Pärnu - St Petersburg and nr 913 Võru - Petseri.

 Necessary documents
When travelling Estonia to Russian Federation or vice versa, the passengers need to present their bus ticket along with the valid travelling document and/or other document issued for crossing the State Border (i.e proof of residence, permission to return, etc.) Bus driver will not allow the passengers without valid documents or passengers refusing to present their documents needed to cross State Border (visa, residence permit, etc.) to enter the bus. Bus company has the right not to refund the tickets for these passengers.

 Bus and bus drivers
There are two bus drivers in the bus, who are providing information in three languages (Estonian, Russian, English) when necessary. WC is open during the journey. All the buses are equipped with WIFI connection and it is working until the Estonian Border.  According to the information provided by the bus driver it is possible to have a smoking brake and stretch legs in the largest bus stops.

 Crossing the Border
The planned border crossing takes one hour. Each passenger is responsible that his/her documents are in order and valid (passport, visa, insurance) and the bus driver has the right to control it. Estonian citizens and the "owners of gray passports" must provide filled migration card of Russian Federation, which can be obtained from the bus driver. At the Russian border control, passengers must leave the bus with the entire luggage and cross the border on foot.

 Luggage
In the long journey it is advisable to think through, which part of the luggage should be taken to the cabin (head restraint-pillow, drinks, snacks etc) and whish part should be placed to the luggage compartment. Usual rules are applying for the luggage

 Pets
Passenger travelling with pet is responsible for the necessary documents for taking the animal out of the country and entering Russia. Passengers must purchase full ticket for the pet in travelling to Russia, in other matters usual rules are applicable

 Time difference
The time difference between Estonia and Russia is in summer 1 hour: Estonia is in the time zone GMT +2, Russia GMT +3. In another words it means, that in travelling to Russia watches must be turned forward for one hour and backwards for one hour when returning.

In 2011 Russia didn't change to winter time. That means the time difference between Estonia and Russia in the period 30.10.2011-24.03.2012 is 2 hours.

 Sale of Tickets
Tickets can be purchased from the bus stations, from the bus driver and from the internet

 Fares and Discounts
Usual Discounts and benefits are not applicable in the international bus lines, including travelling within Estonia. 

Bus line No 971 Tallinn - St Petersburg - Tallinn and bus line No 987 Pärnu - St Petersburg - Pärnu following discounts are:

-10% Youth till 26 years old (incl.), pensioners at 60 years old. 

Discounts are given when presenting a valid document or pension certificate.
